About this event

See how a school community, in partnership with local charity Natural Neighbours, has transformed the school grounds and collaborated to spread wildlife habitat across the neighbourhood. Tonnes of lifeless AstroTurf have been removed and replaced with trees, shrubs, meadow mounds, a wildlife pond and wending pathways for students and adults alike to enjoy and decompress from the stresses of the classroom in. Learn what wildlife-friendly planting and habitat you can add to your outdoor space at home or work, and how the Natural Neighbours app supports you and your community to bring the health benefits of experiencing wildlife into your daily life wherever you are.

Where

Daubeney Primary School is in Homerton on Daubeney Road. Nearest Overground station is Homerton, about ten minutes walk away.
